Gemas is just a small town. We don't have big shopping mall. Not even a Billion or Giant. But it's such a nice place to live in.
Gemas has taught me so many things. Little things that I don't learn in Uni. It teaches me small details of life. I used to order things, I used to call for delivery. Life was so convenient those days. So convenience that it became bad. I gained 15kg during my 9 months pupillage. Thanx to McDelivery.
Having said that, now that I am living in Gemas I don't eat McD as much as I did when I was in Ipoh. I don't eat Carbonara every 7th day of the month as I used to. I don't treat myself with food anymore. Not fast food at least.
So, what's the blessing? Where's the disguise?
Simple.
Gemas has taught me the beauty of home made food.
when I feel like eating McD Apple Pie, I dice the apple and cook it. When I feel like eating Carbonara, I bought Prego and cook it. It's that simple. Haha. Save money if not time.
Thanx Gemas. Without you, I would still buy apple pie. Now, I can do apple jam. I love you Gemas.
